Turkish vintage kilim rug which you see above has been weaved by an Anatolian villager in 1980s in Balikesir which is a province in northwestern Turkey, having coastlines on both the Sea of Marmara and the Aegean. It is a unique kilim rug. It has been weaved by jijim weaving technique and it contains handspun wool and cotton yarns. We can describe the jijim as a complementary weft technique.
