It denotes a pipeless textile of many uses produced by one of several flat weaving techniques that have closely related heritage to Anatolian culture. Modern kilims can be purely decorative and function to make homes unique since all kilims in the world are handwoven and unique.
This vintage Turkish kilim rug has been weaved by a skillful Anatolian villager in 1980s in Mut, which is a town of Mersin province in Southern Anatolia part of Turkey. It is a unique kilim rug. It is 100% handwoven and has been weaved as wool on wool.
